Dating to over 2,000 years ago Kimchi is one of the most loved side dishes at every dinner table.

*Cut the cabbage *1 (2 pound) head of napa cabbage
*Salt the cabbage *1/4 cup of sea salt
*Rinse and drain the cabbage * water
*Make the paste *1 tablespoon grated garlic (about 5-6 cloves

Originally a Chinese dish, Koreans have taken it over and made the noodles thicker, and yummier. Almost every Korean will eat this dish at least once a week.
*How to make Jajangmyeon* *Ingredients*
*Heat oil on pan (low heat) *7 tablespoons oil
*Put bean paste with oil, stir *7 tablespoons of black bean paste
*When done drain excess oil & put paste in another pan *2 medium sized onions
*Put back the excess oil *250 g of ground pork
*put in the onions *1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
*Add the pork *1/2 tablespoon of sugar
*Put in some black pepper *1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
* get another pan *2 cups of broth
* Start boiling hot water for the noodles *Fresh noodles
*Once pork is done put the paste on it coat in heavily *For thickener*
*Add broth to the boiling water *1 table spoon of Potato starch
*Boil noodles (make sure the noodles are not hard) * 2 cups of cold water
*Rinse noodles with cold water
* Add cold water and potato starch to the pork

Soy Sauce Crab is also called "rice thief" because the sauce to make it is so good that you eat more and more rice just to have more Soy Sauce Crab.
*How to make Soy Sauce Crab* *Ingredients*
*Make the combination of *2 pound blue crab ( 4-5 crabs)
Soy Sauce, water,dried chili pepper, *1 apple sliced thin
ginger, apple, dried kelp, onion, garlic *1 medium onion sliced
and rice syrup in a big pot *6 garlic cloves
*Boil on medium high for 20 minutes *1 tablespoon ginger, chopped
*Turn down the heat and cook for a hour *2-3 green chili peppers, chopped
* Strain combination then let it cool down *3-4 small dried red chili peppers
*Cut the crabs *5 inch by 8 inch dried kelp
*Run crabs under cold water to clean *2 1/2 cup of soy sauce
*Put the crabs in a wide jar, belly up *1/4 cup of rice syrup
*Put combination on crabs *6 cups of water
*Press down the crabs
*Leave them refrigerated for 24 hours
*Next day take them out and eat
(you might want to eat rice with the crabs so you have a side dish)

*Prepare carrot and zucchini * 1 Zucchini *Cut Julienne *4 oz of Soybean spouts
*Prepare beef *4 oz of Spinach
*Blanch and remove water *4 oz of Korean spring greens
*Prepare soybean spouts * 1 Egg
*Saute gasari *1/4 cups of Red chili paste
*Saute doreji *1/3 cups of Vegetable oil
*Saute shiitake mushrooms
*Saute carrot
*Saute zucchini
*Saute beef
*Season spinach and mix
*Season spring greens and mix
*Season soy bean sprouts and mix

*Stuff chicken (for stuffing)
*Close cavity *1 cup of sweet rice
